The crazy thing about my head-which I understand fully is a terrible way to open up an entry-is that I'm constantly having 'aha' moments, or thoughts that I would think would be fun and intriguing.
So I get my chance to actually put it into writing, and suddenly I'm Lenny from Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men". "Derrr, whatta-we-gonna-write-today, George?" This is exactly the thing that just happened and I get so dang angry with myself. I can hear Eminem chanting "Lose Yourself" in my ear, reminding me that I only have one shot-do not-pass my chance to flow-this opportunity comes once in a lifetime. And I blow it. I blow it like Bush Sr. blew chunks on that dude from Japan.
At least for tonight anyhow. But alas, there is next time. And as I embark on this journey-taking you into my head-it is my hope that I have a few things to show you on the tour. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. So they say.
My baby's head...sometimes I wonder what really goes on in there. It's a vast wonder to behold.
